Discover the story of the Potteries through exciting displays of art, local history, natural sciences and the worlds greatest collection of Staffordshire ceramics. It also contains the Staffordshire Hoard, discovered by a metal detectorist in 2009 and dating from the 7th century, it is the largest hoard of Anglo-Saxon gold ever found. Gladstone Pottery Museum is a unique museum where you can discover how bone china tableware was made in the original workshops and giant bottle kilns of the former Gladstone China Works, now preserved as the last complete Victorian pottery factory in the country. We include soup and sandwich lunch.
