We enjoy a break at Dagfields Crafts and Antiques, 7 giant vintage emporiums with treasures from over 300 dealers and a shopping village with 25 unique independant shops. We continue to Anderton Boat Lift, one of the 'Severn Wonders of the Waterways', lifting boats and barges 50ft from the River Weaver Navigation to the Trent and Mersey Canal. Sit back on the glass-sided boat, listen to the informative commentary and learn how the Cathedral of the Canals is a master of Victorian engineering. We include soup and sandwich lunch in the cafe.
