This dazzling show is a kaleidoscope of music, dance and display, staged against the matchless backdrop of Edinburgh Castle. Spine-tingling sights abound as the massed bands march out across the drawbridge, the swell of their pipes and drums cracking through the night sky.

Excursion 1
After a leisurely morning in Perth, we board our coach at lunchtime for Edinburgh. The afternoon is free to explore the city. In the evening we have a tattoo performance. Arrival back at the hotel will be late and please note that an evening meal is not included today.
Excursion 2
St Andrews is famed as the home of golf, however it has so much more to o9ffer. A ruined castle and cathedral overlook the sandy beaches where "Chariots of Fire" was filme. St Andrews is a vibrant university town too, with a young feel, an of course its the place wyhere Prince William met Kate Middleton. We end our day with a tour and tasting at a local gin distillery.
