Hereford is a cathedral city where a visit to the 13^th century Mappa Mundi is a must.  It is the largest medieval map of the world in existence, but also a social snapshot of 13^th Century faith and history.  The medieval bridge spans the River Wye proudly, and the city has several museums and great shopping.  Ludlow is a thriving medieval market town and architectural gem.  The historic town centre is situated on a cliff above the River Teme and is surrounded by beautiful countryside.  It has a reputation for the quality of its food and drink, with many excellent restaurants and cafes.
